Norfolk Broads

River Bure

A visit to a different landscape in eastern England...the Norfolk Broads. The Norfolk and Suffolk Broads are Britains largest protected wetland with a status of a national park. This partially man made landscape was formed by the sea level raising to fill the major peat excavations that took place between the 12th and 14th centuries. Dawn near Ludham on the River Thurne.
