Delamere Station on the fringe of Delamere Forest and next to the Linmere Visitor Centre. Was once part of the royal hunting forests, now a 1500 acre forest park offering a range of persuits including walking, cycling, horse riding and high wire forest adventures.

Unique to Chester are the Rows which are 13th century half timbered shops, taverns and galleries on two levels with covered walkways....this is the top level.

Along side the wall is the Racecourse. Probably the oldest in the country, once the site of a Roman harbour.

Jodrell Bank Observatory and visitor Centre. Home to the world-famous Lovell Radio Telescope and the UK's National Astronomy Observatory. Completed in 1957 and used by the University of Manchester Astronomy department to observe the birth and death of stars, black holes, and the origin of the universe 13.5 Billion years ago in the Big Bang.....all from the Cheshire countryside......instills a sense of wonder..... but what about the common cold etc.
