Hartrigg...and a backdrop of Ill Bell, Froswick, Mardale Ill Bell, and Harter Fell...most of the Kentmere Horseshoe. Starting and finishing at St Cuthbert's church, this high level route is about 12 miles and takes about 7 hours...a nice morning's walk....part of which takes you over High Street...an old Roman road.
