Latrigg from Keswick War Memorial. The start of a walk onto Latrigg, situated north east of the town. At just over 1400ft it is dwarfed by Skiddaw yet on a good day offers fine views of Keswick, Derwentwater, Borrowdale and the Derwent Fells. A walk of approximately 5 to 7 miles and 2 to 4 hours depending on your choice of the many paths and detours and the number of comfort breaks that you take. From the centre of Keswick join the Cumbria Way north of the town near the Spa Leisure Complex which is on the site of the old railway station, and head north east along Spooney Green Lane and over the A66. There are a limited number of car parking spaces on the road side at the beginning of the lane at grid ref 267241.
