Place Fell from the Kirkstone Pass. This series of photographs were taken walking from Howtown, on the shores of Ullswater - Grid Reference 444197 - over Place Fell to Glenridding, and back along the shore path to Howtown. There are many walks in this area. Probably the most popular is to take the ferry from Glenridding Pier to Howtown and to walk back either over Place Fell or along the shore line path.
