Beautiful early morning at Waterhead on the way down to the Holker Hall Festival
Holker Hall near Cark-in-Cartmel in South Lakeland is the home of Lord and Lady Cavendish. It's a Neo-Elizabethan building rebuilt after a fire in 1871. The house is set in 25 acres of gardens and 200 acres of parkland. There is a three day festival held here every year at this time.
