Tarn Hows, with a little sun on Arnside Intake in the middle ground, and on the ridge of Heron Pike and Great Rigg in the distance....the ascent to Fairfield. Not nearly as much rain in the Lakes as the south and east ...a few bright spells but very wet and gloomy for this time of the year...6 weeks left for summer to appear.
