Amateur photographs posted at irregular intervals of the English Lake District - and sometimes other locations that I have visited. I have lived and worked here for over 25 years and am now retired, so when time permits....amongst other things....I pursue hobbies including walking, cycling, and photography. An interest in computers led to putting some of my efforts on the web.
My photographs reflect the season in which they are posted. The Central Lakes feature predominantly....this is the area in which I live.
For the technically minded, I have over the years collected quite a few cameras... currently I use a Canon S3iS, which is a good compromise between quality and portability. I use Photoshop Elements for image editing; a very basic text editor Notepad, to write the XHTML and CSS to produce these pages, and find Ipswitch WS FTP one of the best to upload files.
